#Garage
I have a somewhat special relationship to what a garage should facilitate, just offering protection from the elements either it be the weather or cat buglers is not quite what i am looking for..
What i want is a place that is mine, unlike the house witch has 4 residents including myself, has to have rules that make sure that everyone has an equal amount of comfort, this place will be my rules and my rules only! But before i can impose a set of rules i need to follow the councils rules to get i built..
There has been 10-15 design sketches on the pad with different approaches on how to maximize the area i have available, one more extravagant than the previous…it was time for a reality check!
I sat down and scrapped all the ideas i had in my head and started looking online for some new inspiration to try to get out of the deep track i had seem to get stuck in and had to basically come up with some guidelines that would help me make the correct decisions.
- Enough space, utilize the building spec for buildings up to 70 m²
- Dirty workshop, for media blasting, compressor storage etc
- Flush mount car lift
I just must stop and comment how simple and helpful Google Sketch Up is to use, just to get your ideas visualized it is a fantastic tool, i use it for just about everything.(No attachments financially to Google in any way, just giving a good tool some credit)
This is the concept i have decided to keep working on, this is the idea i have at the moment and it as the design matures changes will be implemented to facilitate structural requirements.
